Rituals bring the community together and help us celebrate the varied aspects of the season as well as our many fold paths.  We are happy to bring you varied rituals hosted by folks of different paths.  If you or your group would like to lead a ritual, please contact Debbie to discuss your desires and needs: Deb@mountain-mysteries.com

Bale Fire Ritual:
Led by Lisa Starnes

A call went out and a call was answered.  Where is the ritual of the sacred Bale Fire?  We are pleased to announce that this year's Beltane rituals start with this sacred rite of purification and blessing as we pass between the fires Friday evening.  We are honored to have Lisa Starnes as our High Priestess for this moving and much anticipated ritual.

Maypole Ritual Dance!
Led by David & Jeanet Ewing of The Northern Virginia Pagan Network

Join us as we celebrate the divine union of the Lord and Lady of the May. We will sing and drum as dancers lend their energy to this sacred union to ensure fertility and growth for the season. After the pole wrapping, participants will be able touch the pole to receive blessings from the Gods.

RedWolf (Jeanet) has followed the Pagan path since 1993, when she was introduced to Witchcraft by her sister. While RedWolf’s practice is mostly eclectic, her focus is on Shamanic Witchcraft and American Folk Magic. She has extensively studied magical herbalism, aromatherapy, and the use of stones and crystals for ritual work and personal transformation. She has taught workshops on a variety of practical magic topics, and for the last 6 years, has also led public rituals for several local Pagan groups.
RedWolf has been a member of the Circle Sanctuary community since 1996, and is currently enrolled in Circle’s Minister Training Program, which is led by its founder, Selena Fox. She is one of the founders of the Northern Virginia Pagan Network. She also co-owns The Pagan Peddler, an online Pagan ritual supply business she operates with her husband Dave and her 6 feline “work center supervisors”.
